Project Application

Northeast Iowa RC&D assists individuals, organizations, and businesses with a multitude of projects. Each of these projects started out as an idea. Someone approached the RC&D and asked for our help. They filled out an application, which was submitted to the RC&D Board of Directors. Once the RC&D Board of Directors approved the project, RC&D staff were able to help the community member.

Application

Project Application is simple!   The application itself is only two pages long and can be submitted at any time. You should work with the RC&D staff to develop your application to ensure that they understand the goals of your project and that you understand how the RC&D functions. It is also helpful to discuss potential projects with the Board of Director from your county.  There is a $50 nonrefundable fee that helps the RC&D process your application. Since new projects are approved twice each year (January and June) by the Board of Directors, it is a good idea to talk with your board representative before submitting an application.  Please contact the RC&D for further information.

Funding

Northeast Iowa RC&D rarely has funds designated for specific project activity. They do help partners identify grants and can provide grant writing and fund raising assistance to move approved projects forward.  Private donations can be accepted for approved projects. If you wish to make a donation to Northeast Iowa RC&D, a non-profit organization, call 563.864.7112 and download the donation form (PDF).
